G'Day Everyone,
I'm new to VW ownership, although like most people, I've have had a lot of cars and bikes over the years but my '99 GTI Golf is the first Euro car (had a few Euro bikes, including a couple of Husqvarna's which my current rides).
The GTI's had a pretty chequered history and I think it's been saved from getting totally wrecked by a clueless DIYer just in time. I picked it up at a local auction in Brisbane. Body and engine are good, interior is average and the electrics are.... well, interesting. Looking forward to tapping into the experience on this forum...
