Been reading for a while and thought it's time to join the fun
We are a VW mad family.
2012 Scirocco R, DSG, Dynaudio, Sat Nav
2010 Golf 103 TDI, DSG, Sunroof, Dynaudio, Satnav, Cornsilk Leather, Sportpack, 18" Kartoum's, Park Assist
1973 1600 Superbug

Plus other motors - 1999 Kawazaki ZZR1100
1989 Pulsar Q - Motorkhana Car
2011 Honda CRV - My work car soon to be sold as being replaced by a company car 2012 Toyota Kluger
and 1958 Massey Ferguson.

Previous drives include 2009 Golf 103TDI, and 1966 Beetle (can opener convertable) Plus more 2 Hondas, 3 Nissans, 2 Holdens, 3 Fords, 2 Landrovers, 2 Mini's, a Volvo, a BMW and a Hilllman Hunter. Plus Bikes 2 BMWs, 2 Hondas, 2 Yamahas, and 2 Suzukis. See why the moniker?

Would like to add a Mk3 VR6 to the family if we can find the right car at the right price. Maybe when the CRV is sold

The Massey probably wouldn't keep up, but if I went round with the plough down you wouldn't lap me. LOL

Thanks Gareth_oau, I saw your track day, looks like a heap of fun, but I won't be in Aus when it is on Next run for me will be the German Car Day, should be 22nd July but I haven't seen any info from MB Club yet.


Will get some pics up as soon as there is some nice weather to take some. All working and driving, so haven't got many pics on the PC at the moment.

Thanks geoff_gti, I didn't scroll down far enough when checking the MB website, only checked July and August and got confused, thanks for putting me back on track. Looks like fine weather for Sunday, so I might get the camera out and post some pics.

Welcome - it would be interesting to have count of the WA members on board.

BTW I still have my dad's 1968 Hillman Arrow in the garage - time to do some work on it. I seem to be motivated every time I watch Wheeler Dealers on Foxtel - be nice to have a hoist though.

Thanks popeclement, we rarely see any Hillmans out and about anymore, I fell into my as a deal to get out of a Mini that needed more repairs than I could manage, but it was actually quite good to drive and lots of fun.

I got the cars out and took some pictures this morning. I think this one is the best.
