Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi guys,

my name is Mark, and i've been a member onthe Golf.net forum for about 8 months now. so i thought i'd see what all the excitement is over here. i have a 2dr, 6psd manual 07 R32, it's got a custom cat back exhaust with HJS200 high flow cats, GruppeM intake, tuned by BPS, and the diesel geek short shifter. it's got a hell of a sound to it, and i LOVE IT!
its my wkd car, cos i commute all week.

i've met a couple of you now at the meets, and found out you guys were on this site, so i thought i'd join the band wagon.

    peace,

    M

so i read up on the hi spec brakes. not many good reviews on them...alot of ppl said they weren't reliable, and not so good for track use. sure they might be lighter material, but not as durable...might have to look elsewhere i think. thanks for the help tho! apreciate it mate.

Bummer Mark, they do specify however their road and track calipers. Have you had a look at the ECS website?
