Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hi

    Hi from Canada! Came across this site when searching for VW info. Thought I'd sign up as I found some useful info and diy here! Maybe I'll make it to Aust one day... had to cancel last NYE's trip there unfortunately.

    New to VWs... picked up a Golf R couple months ago from a dealer's lot from someone who didn't go through with the sale.

    Welcome to the forums mate.
    The North American Golf R is a different spec to teh ones we get here so some of the information will have to be verified before you use it.

    I would also reccomend checking out vwvortex.
