Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

    Hi All,

I came to find you guys as I searched for my next ride!

In my past I've owned 13 cars, 4 of which were Seats. My first Seat was an Ibiza CLX. This served me well in my 'P' plater years. I soon moved her on for an 8v GTi. She too was a short stepping stone before my first Cupra Sport. I loved this machine, lowered springs and glistening black 'magic' paint work, no one would know what she was, I loved it! I then took a spell away from the Euros and went Japanese. Whilst that was fun I couldn't help but feel that something was missing, hence I bought my 4th Seat, and my 2nd Cupra. Black again (as most of them were) and drawing just as much attention.

Life recently has taken quite the shift. I sold my AWD love (My WRX) due to the arrival of twins. This wouldn't have been so much of an issue if we didn't already have a 15 month old daughter. Never the less, she had to go. So I bought the missus a Toorak tractor and I 'inherited' the family automatic sedan. Needless to say I feel as though my nuts have been chopped off! So here I'am, taking a stand for my manhood and my need to use the left hand for something other than changing the radio station. I thought this to be the best way to get back into my love of cars, and hunt for a replacement car whilst chatting to lovers of the same.

    Thanks for reading

    Cheers
