Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Newbie to VW

    Hi guys

    Super excited to pick up my new Polo GTI next weekend!

    Have been wanting to trade in my Ford Falcon XR6 and purchase something smaller for a while, but never thought I'd find something that could tick all my boxes like the polo has.

    Lucky in that I found one pretty much right away, rather than having to wait the 6 - 12 month period that I understand is quite common with the Polo GTi.

    Would have preferred the Candy White colour, but have purchased my second option in Black Pearl.

    Looking forward to reading about other users experiences and any potential mods or upgrades that can be done.

    Welcome, Jess. Congrats on your new machine. The forum is full of people with great advice and a willingness to help. Don't forget to post a few pics after you pick it up. Be like the rest of us and take a pics in front of the neighbours.

      A bit late for you, but anybody interested in a White 2011 GTI with 5+k on the clock, Barlow world in Mascott Sydney have a mint one. I saw it today when I ordered my Comfort-line. Screen price is $32990 (ouch!) with no options that I noted.
      2012 - Polo 77TSI Comfortline, Sports Pack, Comfort Pack, Full window tints.

        Jim, as much as I love white, I'm in Melbourne and they are asking a bit too much for it I think! I'm thinking at some stage I might look at trading it in for a white model with some extras! Depends on availability and trade in process etc. I guess!
