Hi Everyone,
New to the Forum so just wanted to say hello.
I'm a life long lover of VW's
Previously in the UK I have owned
1979 Golf Mk1 GTi
1995 Golf Mk3 GTi
2001 Golf Mk4 2.8 4motion
along with many mk3 and 4 run arounds and a couple of Kombi's.
I moved to Australia 8 yrs ago and have been living in the city so havent had space to keep any projects. I had a Mk5 R32for a while to keep the Dub love alive.
But I've recently moved out to Bairnsdale in country Vic so its time to get a project going. I've also started work at the local Volkswagen dealership (www.dwyers.com.au) so if you need any genuine gear give me a holler.
Will probably look at getting a Mk1 or 2 GTi but might do something completely different like a Vento with a VR6 conversion. Any help along the way wold be most appreciated.
