Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hi mate, welcome to Australia! Mk2's are not all that common here, we never got any 3dr models, never got the 16V, or the G60 or Rallye, we only got the 8V in 5dr, which was Japanese spec and underpowered. All the 3dr ones and 16Vers you see are imports and conversions. There are a couple for sale on here, but not in Perth i don't think. Keep your eyes on carsales.com.au and gumtree if you're after one.
I'll say it before someone else does - you should of brought one over with you!!

    Matt.

        Welcome.

I'm new here today as well. Is that a Kilkenny registration on your Jetta?

        cheers,

        ramondo.

Hi Marty, keep an eye on the Events section - we are trying to get something local happening every couple of months.

            Cheers
