Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    G'day All,

    Have been lurking for about two months now whilst waiting for my Scirocco to arrive.

    Picked it up today.
    Rising Blue, Manual.

    Nothing more to say just yet really.

      Well, nearly a week has passed and I must say I am enjoying.

      I've thus far had tint done, ordered the compartment lid and section for the front console, and an RNS510 is on its way.

      Have had a little play with the vagcom stuff, but the laptop ran out of juice before writing any changes! Voice dialing will have to wait!

      Got a couple of other bits and pieces planned - nothing major - but an just enjoying enjoying!

        Good to see you enjoying the Rocco... by the way... Voice dialing works off the bat, well it does for me.
        Personally I find it easier to use the steering wheel buttons though.
