Hi everyone! I'm a middle-aged bloke, and I've had my first Volkswagen for a year and a half now. I'm enjoying this car very much, though I've experienced a minor glitch or two. I've already found the answers to some of my questions by lurking on the forums, but decided to join so I could pursue issues in depth if I needed to.

As the title implies, I drive a 2011 model year Golf 118TSI. It is the standard base model, with no optional accessories, upgrades, or modifications ... yet!

Hmmm, free trial, you say? Interesting. Though to be frank, getting the base 118TSI was as far as my finances stretched, and it could be a while before I can even consider lashing out for the full APR Stage 1.

I've also got a couple of minor issues I want to clear up first ... but hopefully I'll find the answers with further study of this forum.

No problem. Best to wait for the twice-yearly 15% off sale they have in any case. I only used about one of my six free hours before going back to the place to buy the full version
