Michael's my name - purchased a 1.4l 5spd Polo about a month ago.
Love the car but must say disappointed with Volkswagen's fitment of the removable Bluetooth screen unit.
Have done some investigation on this - the Bluetooth screen unit can be removed and replaced with a dedicated phone cradle, depending on the manufacturer of the phone.
I have an iPhone 4S. Since purchasing the car, I have located the iPhone 4S Cradle and purchased it from an eBay user in Germany. It arrived today and I fitted it. It works great, charges the phone and allows incredible Bluetooth audio through the standard RCD310 unit.
Anyway, will post a comment in the relevant thread on the forum - just wanted to say Hi.
