Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW I Just save $2k on my Tiguan Pacific Thanks to this Forum!

    I just committed yesterday to a Tiguan Pacific with lots of fruit yesterday then got the after sales sales spiel for X-pack for $1700 from, after checking this forum I decided to cancel the X-pack and save the $'s so I thought I better join seeing I saved so much! It's interesting the way just when you thought you added on all the add ons and feeling happy they hit you up with a lady that entices you to protect your new baby and waste $1700 on what really is nothing more than you could do yourself for $100 (also got hit for $495 for a tint that I have reserved the right to cancel)
    Anyway my Tiggy's on a boat somewhere between here and Germany so have to wait till end of June.
    BTW I own photoforum.com.au not sure if I'm allowed to post that I can't read rules ...
    Anyway thanks this forum for the $2000.00 I deserve it

    Hey! yeh 500 bucks for tinting isnt worth it. Martin over in blacktown does tinting for 150 bucks. A damn good job at it as well.
    For car protection, I have never gone past opticoat at reflect effect for about 500ish depending the car size.
    The new Tiguan LOOKS HOT! haha congrats. better than the last one

      I got my tint for $250 i think it was.
