Hi, VW watercooled newbies & veterans
My names Carl, I'm from the Sunshine Coast and finally own a Volkswagen that actually wears the badge.
I've recently step into a Scirocco R powered by a 2.0L TSI & equipt with a DSG transmission.
I'm no stranger to the product as I spent quite some time working at a Skoda & Volkswagen Dealership which had me sent to the Volkswagen Academy in Sydney for training to cover both products. I previously owned a Skoda Octavia RS which was powered by the 2.0L TFSI (BWA) engine that can be found in most MkV GTi Golfs and 2.0L TFSI Jetta's.
I no longer work for the dealership, as after nearly seven years at the same place, four of which were spen on Skoda & Volkswagen, I deemed it time to move on and now work in a smaller workshop with the aspiration to end up starting my own workshop specialising on Volkwagen, Skoda & Audi.
I look foward to chatting with you all and making some new friends. Thankyou.
