My MY05 Silver GTI was the best value car I've ever owned and am looking forward to picking up my MY12 Tornado Red GTI on Wednesday!

So here's the feedback.

In so many ways the MY12 GTI is same same . . . but RED - but that's a good thing, I loved my MY05 so so glad the MY12 is as good . . . well better!

So why better

• well the engine noise from inside the cabin is just awesome, and that's in "run-in" driving mode, can't wait to open it up. There's just that more willingness to the note - the MKV loved to go hard but felt it a bit like it was trying to, the Mk6 just sounds like its wants to be "run-in" and let loose!!!
• the RCD510 + MDI + Bluetooth + MFD, yes I know that's just the damn radio etc but the MFD is a great improvement, the MDI is sensational and i'm listening to music I forgot I own and the in car bluetooth just works - it's a nice improvement for sure
• it's tight - I know it's new, but it feels nice and tight and direct - it's clearly factor or new, but the suspension is just more communicative and direct with being WRX "wired".
• more to come once it's clocked up a few more Kms.
