Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC VW Newbie Alert.

    Hi all,

    As per the requirements I will take a moment to introduce myself.

    I am currently looking for a new project and my research has drawn me in the direction of early VW golfs. (MK1/2)
    What better place to come looking for information than this site.

    However before rampantly posting all my questions I promise to make best use of the "search" function.
    Could be in the market for a GLD soon all things going well.

    I look forward to meeting some of you in the future.
