Hey all,

Was deciding between the Polo 77 TSI and the Golf 90 TSI.

In the end we decided to get the 90 TSI, just took delivery of a base spec (no options) United Grey in DSG yesterday.

First impression - very nice little car, comfy and quiet and so far it is quite fuel efficient. I am quite surprise at how pokey the little engine is! Definitely a lot better then some of the car I tried like the cruze and the echo was super anemic...

I have to say the RCD310 for a base spec headunit has quite a bit of functionality compare to my 135i (no iDrive) .

Will be retrofitting RNS510 my self, need to source a vag com cable so I can do my own coding too

stud pattern is different. BMW has 5x120 and golf 5x113.4 or something. It wont fit

Yeah I realise after posting that - did a bit of research and it doesn't fit! I just assume it did cause VMR sells for BMW and VW - didn't think of the different stud pattern

Rey, when are you thinking of upgrading to an RCD510?
I have been playing around with the idea of getting a RNS510, but don't know if its worth it yet.
If I was to get one, I would have an RCD510 avail.

My workmate just bought a GTI so thinking of doing a "group buy" if you are thinking of getting one as well.

atm I am making a move on getting my suspension upgraded, but would def still be interested in a RNS510.
