Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • I have a Tiguan!!! WOOT!!

    Hello All!

Another newbie come to lurk about and glean information!

I am brand new to Volkswagen and have only had my Black 2010 Tiguan 2.0T Wolfsburg for about 10 days. I am from the USA ( Minnesota ) and just becoming obsessed with my Tiggy!

    Previous cars have been
    a) in expensive
    b) practical
    c) paid for ( I tend to drive my cars till the wheels fall off)

But at the ripe middle age of 45 i decided I wanted LOVE my car, so i traded in my very practical 2007 Honda Accord EX-L (V-6) and test drove everything that caught my fancy ( in my price range) and when I drove the VW I began to giggle like a kid!

    So i bought it.
    and here I am!!

    Hi Laurie.
I would check out VWvortex.com as well as they are US based and have information that may be more relative to your car.

Having said that, I have a 2010 and i love it to bits, has served me well and goes like the wind when i want it to.
