WA GOLF GTI MKV 2drs DSG

Hi,

Just got myself a GOLF GTI MKV a few weeks ago from a Toyota dealership. GTI don't go for sale often in WA.
I'always been a fan of Nissan S series Silvia and never thought I would owned a Volkswagen or even an auto. Owned a 1995 180sx which I imported from Japan stock as a rock. 5 years later and over 20k spent, finally finish modding and sold the car. Always wanted a GTI MKV since I saw one in showroom back in 2008 when my boss was getting his VW serviced. Been trying for 3 months with no luck or over my budget. One night looking on carsales I saw a 2 doors model in reflex silver and drove to the dealer the next night and bought the car. Didn't even know GTI came out in silver and I thought 2 doors were only in US/Euro but found out 2 doors were built at the motherland.

if you are thinking about the APR reflash, there's a 15% off sale on at the moment.

Also suggest you add a catback and give it the sound it deserves.

There's a cruise due in the next 3-4 weeks (unplanned at this stage), so hope you can tag along and meet some of the locals

Who is APR dealer in Perth?
Might keep my exhaust stock as my last car had exhaust/gate and wasn't ideal for daily. I want more power as I was beaten by a Audi coupe type in both speed and cornering. Already ordered new front tyres for better grip. Can't wait to meet the local and learn heaps about VW.

And for the shorter antenna, you can get one from Dub Ad·dic·tion [duhb uh-dik-shuhn] fro about $30. I agree that the stock one is way too long.
