  • VIC Hi all Golf R owners, I'm looking for advice getting one.

    Hi all,

    I've been a reader of this forum for a few year and finally looking to pull the trigger on getting a Golf R.

    I will appreciate any advice I can get on getting a Golf R. A dealership near me has a new 12.5 candy white, base model DSG with factory Talladega wheels. I have to the following questions;

    - What's the best On-the-road price I can "push" for?

    - Should I get Adaptive chassis control? (read that it's not worth it)

    - What's the on-going service cost (approx. annual budget)?

    - Any extras I'd need to be cost effective on purchase?

    Thanks for any advice I can get!

      Thanks mate. I've just started to look at these threads.

      Not sure when I can post into them but I've gotten various pricing for the same car specs, between $54k to $58k drive away.
