Hi all, first drive to work today in the 97 VR6 I picked up last week. Ran great and smiled all the way (that doesn't normally happen when I drive to work), it was Friday and sunny!
7.4 lt per 100 made it even better. Car has been babied all it's life by 1 mature owner and is in exceptionally clean condition, the interior looks almost new.
Car is 100% standard and all original down to the VW radio cassette player. I had a number (3) of Mk2 Golf GTI's, an Audi 80 Sport and a Jetti GTI 16v back in the day and the VR doesn't dissapoint - apart from the rather bland appearance (white).
Noticed the rear NS rear tyre is heavily worn on the inside - so guess some alignment issue there.
