  • new owner passat 125 tdi

hi guys, just taken delivery of a 2008 125dti passat wagon. i am extremely happy. straight up i am driving from outer south australia to bendigo and back to test her out. are there any suggestions for this trip first up ,should i start by using bp ultimate all the time and would it be wise to put a injector cleaner in it for the trip. the vehicle has been serviced only by the local vw dealership since new. now the other thing should i just fill her up and just let her go . the vehicle has done 59,000k's.
    thanks a lot . paul

    Tyre pressures and drive.

I have bought several cars interstate and driven them back to Adelaide when I lived there. I just paid the money checked the oil and set off. No problems so far.

Using tip top fuel is important IMO. Buy it somewhere that is pretty busy, so there's little chance of it being dirty.

Be worth having some breakdown cover anyway on a long trip.

    Gavin

Fuel as stated most important, you can get a fuel can to stock if you think it may need some enroute, has it had the 60k and dsg service???? Also a good idea to get extended warranty, ring up gold coast Vw, will do a good deal for u.
