First Time VW Owner!

Hi fellow members!

Just became a first time VW owner this week.

After waiting around 9 months I am the proud owner of a 2012 Polo GTI!!!!!

Already put on 600km's and loving every second of it!

Look forward to getting out and meeting other members etc along with learning some useful info from the forum.

Yeah would love to get out for some cruises or meets!

Actually just saw one down the road from home few weekends ago.

Majority Kombi's and Beetle's, it was a huge event.

Was lucky with our 2012 as it came with Comfort Pack and Audio Pack standard.

I really wanted the Xenons as well but when I asked them about a month ago they told me it was a factory fitted option only..... Would've been nice if they told me that when I placed my order!

Well keep an eye on the events section of the forums as we have 2 catch ups in 2 weeks time.

Shame about hte xenons but you could always just get uprated bulbs for about $100 if you need more light output.

Just a question which VW driving course did you do? There is three different ones there.

I did the middle one (can't remember it's name)
Progression i think.

They want $250 now for the middle one.

Yeah, the first year it was free, then they worked out they could charge people and they would still turn up.

It's not like they are porsche or anything.
