QLD Hi everyone - Looking for exhaust info!

Hi everyone

My names Lauren and I have joined VW Watercooled to find out more information on exhaust options for my car. I purchased a new Volkswagen GTi MKVI (and absolutely love it!) in August last year. I'm looking for a new exhaust to add additional power and a bit more "grunt" factor to the car. Anyways, I will send further details in my second post.

Welcome Lauren.
For more power, you want an aftermarket downpipe (matched to a tune)

For more noise you want an aftermarket cat-back exhaust.
I wanted more noise so i went with a full muffler delete but the suitcase muffler on the Mk6 GTI might be too big for this to work within the noise limits.

Welcome to the form Lauren. There is plenty of good nformation on a wide range of choices... APR, Milltek, XForce, etc, etc. best bet is to do some solid research and talk to forum members who have different exhaust setups. Also some great infor over at vwgolf.net.au
