Hi there team.
Just picked up my edition 25 multivan on Friday, nice piece of kit.
My VW experience started in 06 when I bought a 2.5 128kw T5 transporter custom fitted by vee quip in Melbourne, I am an electrical contractor. . Interior was fitted with full floor, walls, full widows, 5 leather seats. Exterior was custom alloys, chrome side skirts and a small rear spoiler. Nice car. In 2008 it created an electrical fault under the bonnet and caught on fire....... Game over.
In 2009 I joined the VW team again when I bought an 06 multivan, 2.5 128kw. Im in to minis, the car, and I've towed my competition car all over Australia and I is the best tow car I've ever had.
In 2010 I bought another T5 128kw auto for my electrical business. In the same year I bought another transporter, a 2010 T5 GP 103kw man. In Christmas of the same year I bought my wife a mk6 golf GTI DSG and we absolutely love it.
This week I have just traded in the 06 multivan for the new 2011 2.0 bi turbo DSG edition 25 multivan. I've had it for 3 days now and think its awesome. It looks great and drives amazing, let's see how it tows.
I have had my fair share of issues with Volkswagen, mostly resent, with the expense of service and repairs, but I am a big fan and continue to stay loyal and enjoy the time spent behind the wheel of my VWs
I hope to get and give some good advise on this site and maybe I'll be talking to some of you in the future.
