Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hey Guys,

    I just bought my first VW, a 2008 Golf GT TDI, so I figured I should get started on some new forums.

    The car is great fun to drive and I'm looking forward to getting to know you all over the years

    oh lucky! i wanted a TDI but bought a petrol one instead!

    They're great cars arent they!

      They sure are!

      I was really surprised with how it drives for a diesel, not what I expected at all.

      The twincharge has to have it perks though
