Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    QLD New Octavia Owner

    Hi everyone,

    The wife and I picked up our new Octavia RS in November.
    I've been reading the forums for a while now and have been suprised at the size of the skoda following out there, good to see.
    There's lots of useful information on here and i hope in time i can contribute something back.

        Hey guys, thanks for the welcome. We live in far north west QLD, so jaunts to the real world are few and far between, but if it happens i'll let you know. Octavia's a MY12 (or so i've been led to believe) white wagon with leather, xenons and mdi. Only have a few pictures on my mobile, no photoshoots yet! and up here the thing is damn near filthy all the time, especially in white (very, very bad choice).

            Your choice of either black, black or black.
            Yeah it does look pretty schmick. Very happy with the purchase, beautiful to drive, although i'm already looking for more power and more noise. Maybe a bit too much of a Q-car for me, much like your tiguan by the looks.
