Hey guys, great forum you have here, been reading it for a couple of weeks now.
My current car is a silver '91 V8 Toyota Soarer with a few nice mods.
Extractors and high flowing 2 1/4" stainless steel exhaust, enlarged intake and an e-manage ultimate piggy back ecu, pushing out 170kw at the back treads. Not too shabby for a 21 year old 4 ltr engine.
It also has some other goodies, DVD player hooked up to the factory TV, remote start and a height controller which works with the factory airbag suspension.
Can't seem to post attachments at the moment but when i can i'll post up a picture.
Had it for 4 years now and the appeal has worn off, i'm after something a little more subtle but with enough poke to still satisfy. Also, some decent fuel economy would be nice as well.
I've always loved the idea of a twin-charged engine so I thought a 6r Polo GTI would be perfect for me. Unfortunately I haven't been able to take one for a test drive, the dealer in Essendon told me they don't have a Polo GTI available for a test drive because they are all made to order.
So my current plan is to get my soarer looking nice and pretty so I can get top dollar when it comes time to sell it and get into a Polo GTI. Second hand is looking like the best option, as i'm not too fussed on options and do not want the dreaded 10 year wait.
