Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • SA New to the Forums...380 owner looking to upgrade

    Hi All,

I am currently an owner of a Mitsubishi 380 VRX and looking to upgrade to a Polo GTI or Golf GTI. Also, I am a current member/moderator of the Australian Magna Club.

I have never owned a VW before, so I thought this maybe the best place to start.

I hope to enjoy my stay here

    Cheers
    Braedz

      lol

They wont be kicking me out. We have a lot of members on there that have moved on from Magnas/380s, its a pretty good community to be part of.

Sure is, out at the Tailem Bend Motorsport park. Had a track day out there in 2010 when SA was hosting the National Magna Meet. Had around 50 cars enter.

Cool, the VW Club of SA is CAMS affliated and do motorkhana events, so if you buy your VW you can still have fun
