I've owned a T4 Transporter Syncro for a 7 years. And changed the front parkers, rear brake/parker, intrerior lights to LED because I use it a lot at night. As I'm an electrician, I'm always getting tools and materials out of it. Also I park on a highway. So I like to leave the parkers on, so the trucks dont hit me.
Now I just bought a new T5 Transporter. And I am unsure about changing parkers and internal lights to LED, but I use them so much at night. And am worried about getting a flat battery.
What I'd like to do is change the base model radio for a GPS, iPod, iPhone wacker and add a couple of slim profile active subs.
I've already beefed up the rear suspension. Solid cargo barrier. Towbar(hence the suspension).... now for the lights and stereo. Just need some advice, as the VW versions seem a little wanting.

Does the RNS 510 controll ipods? And speaker phone iphones?
