  • WA New GTD Owner

Hi all, Just been having a browse and thought I'd join. Picked up a new GTD Golf 2 days ago and I must say I'm very much in love with it. Has heaps of sting and the fuel economy is AMAZING!

Congrats on your GTD and welcome, I drove one of these at the VW drive day last year and found it quick for a diesel and it didn't sound like one either! What colour did you get?

I got a Red one. I would have preferred white but as they had a red one in stock it swayed me that way.

          Hey,

So did you get yours on the Driveaway sale the currently have on?

No, I got it before the current sale. To be honest I wouldn't do a demo again. Lots of minor paint damage problems. Excessive for a car with 1000km on the clock. Buy new as it really wasn't any cheaper at the end of the day. Just convenient as there was no wait!!

Hi and welcome mate. Hope to spot you. I test drove a GTD when i bought my current car and it was definitely the nicest diesel i've ever driven. However i think you missed Gareth's sarcasm re. economy.... Fun>Economy

I figured it was a bit of sarcasm! Mine was too with the dictionary answer. I got the diesel just for something different really as I don't rack up many kms. Will see how it goes, still could be a gti next!

                Thanks for the welcome
