Mazda3+hail = GTI?

Newbie,

Mazda3 Maxx Sport / DSC / auto / Galaxy grey - damaged in the hail storms in Melbourne.

It's getting assessed tomorrow -

This was in Taylors Lakes - half my familys cars were in the street as we were at my aunts for XMAS lunch.

2 massive hits on the corners of the roof, plenty of other hits. Lost the back window.

The question is - will Mazda3+Hail=GTI? I test drove one last week. If the Maz is a write off - it's most likely a GTI or a GTI 35

Update:

Written off - repairable - but:

1) roof / side tops required conventional repairs
2) New boot / Bonnet / Roof
3) Whole car would need to be repainted
4) seats / floor to be replaced due to being soaked
5) Side airbag was soaked from the broken rear window - would have to be replaced

Soooo, I can still drive it for 48 hours (it has a salvage sticker on it) - they will call me to tow it in 48 hours.

Car shopping time.
