After spending time in Germany I fell in love with the Mk5 GTI, now back in Oz I want one! Living in Adelaide is making my search hard to find a car that fits my requirements. After going through Carsales I now turn to the people of the forums for help. Because you understand why I they are great cars and you’ll know what and where to look and point me in the right direction with advice.
What Mk5 I am after:
- Low Kms <70 000kms (prefer <50 000)
- Unmodified (Stage 1 Chip ok)
- 5dr preferred (but the might look into a 3dr)
- Leather interior
- Sunroof (Not optioned on Pirelli)
- Bluetooth (not essential, will fit later)
- Any colour except Red (prefer Silver or White)
- Manual or DSG (not fussed unless I should steer clear of)
- (Roughly) $25000 GTI $30000 Pirelli
- Well maintained
If you could help that would be great!
Are there specific things I should be looking out for when looking at used Mk5 golfs?
