Hi,
My name's Mark, I'm from Brisbane, Queensland and I've just bought a second hand MY05 VW Touareg V8 (in very good condition with 95K on the clock).

Its main purpose in life will be to tow a large boat, go away camping, some off road (but not beach) and general touring.

Looking to find out the best place to get my new car serviced (when it's due) and the best place to get a 3.5tonne Hayman-Reese towbar with electric brake controller (preferably cheaper than $2K).

Usually I would say drop it on coils, but not if you're towing a boat

Finally got a 3500kg (with 350kg downball weight) Hayman Reece towbar with RedArc electric brake controller for $1800 at ARB.

First trip to the water went well, lots of power and brakes. At approx 300kg ball weight, may need some assistance with suspension on the rear end if any suggestions.
