Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Hey Guys!
    Just ordered Golf R and hopefully in a 6 month will be able to join all of you at the meet

    This forum is a great help, used it to make the decision on what options to get and will use it more and more once my car arrived

            Just took a delivery of my golf R. Had a call from a dealer advising that they are currently have RB in stock with the same specs I wanted.
            So I decided to go ahead and dont wait for God knows how long before I will be able to get UG.
            Now I think RB is the best color for Golf R
            Absolutely love it!!! Relaxed, perhaps lethargic in D and torpedo like in S
            Everything feels in the right places, this car so much accomplished
