What sort of car are you talking about? German Auto won't really touch anything other than late(r) model VW/Audi so if you need a carby overhaul, they may not be interested.

GHR Motors on Daws Rd at Mitchell Park might be an option. They're pretty old school and do mainly older VWs but other models too.

Thanks for ur help. I ll soon have few mk1 spares, im waiting to pick them up. Just bought two to get my 3rd mk1 on the road. Went to buy some spares and it was cheaper to buy complete cars, wife is going to kill me when i fill up the backyard......oh well lol, such is life what can u do when you like the car, especially mk1
