Hi Golf 9/2001 2lt GLE mk 4 owner. Need some info. The service buzzer is driving me crazy. The car HAS been serviced already, but the reset button on the instrument panel does not work when you press it so service can't be reset and silenced, nor can I reset the milage counter. Is this easy to fix or do I need a whole new instrument panel. Also sometimes when I open the door a buzzer will go off and stop when the door is closed. I've checked, lights on, doors closed and so on. Then you do it at the next stop and no noise!
Also did the 9/2001 GLE mk 4 Golf cars come with the panel that has the Lt/per 100km and other driver info in the instrument panel. Is there a code in the owners manual that says your car is fitted with this or was it an extra you ordered? Or is it another problem!
