Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hi my name is Drew, run by the handle of Bix on most forums.

Been into VW's, mainly aircooled, for about 11 years. Also had a mk1/mk2 Gti hydrbid golf for about 5 years, but sold recently as I live in Indonesia and don't use it. Love anything wtih wheels really, both old and new.

Will be getting a Tiguan when i return to oz, so wanted to get up to speed on the watercooled side of things.

Mainly into racing, rather than show scene. I still have my old ac bug in aussie, which is a always evolving track car.

    Cheers

The Tiguan is a competent beast and has handled everything i have thrown at it.

Hope we can get you to come to some of our gatherings.
