Hi, have the above car in Silver that I purchased recently, wanted to inquire about the 60 K service coming up. Any recommendations where to have it done, does it make a difference if I go to someone else and not where the first owner went for his repairs. All log book entries are Oil/Filter/ changed and some info about some work being done that was recommended. How do I find out what work had been done and if I take to any other dealer would they be able to inquire.

Not having driven a diesel before I dont know what to expect. The engine oil appears fairly thick compared to a petrol variant.

Also if I was interested in getting extended warranty is it possible??

I get mine serviced at Prestige and Performance (Coorparoo) and am very happy with their work.

The extended warranty is only available to be purchased within 3 years of the original purchase so i doubt it would be available but you would have to check with the dealerships.

There are threads on the forums about it.
