First timer and joining the Vdub life

Today i bought a Golf Gt Sport 2.0 TDI
Silver, sunroof leather seats etc etc
Very standard n i like that
97,000 k at $22k
Drove the car monday n i liked it, first time driving a diesel. Im impressed

Hope to be part of the family here, get to meet some new people.
I live in the country now, moved 2 weeks ago, so i thought diesel would be the way to go considering the economic benefits of a tdi.

I believe i got a good buy even tho the guys at renault werent greatly flexible on the asking price of 23k, plus i like the perks of sunroof, not so much leather but they would be easier to clean than cloth interiors

You have some nice stretches of road on your doorstep for 'testing' the performance and handling. Certainly nice motorcycling country nearby.

Yes long roads make for good driving near my area, except when you throw kangaroos, rabbits, foxes and wombats into the mix.... Especially at night :p
