  • VIC Leather conditioner - what's best?

    Hi everyone,

Just purchased an MY2011 Golf GTI and took the leather seat option.

I'm wanting to look after the seats with a cleaner and conditioner, but DONT want them to have that cheap shiney look that you get when you let a car-wash crew condition / clean them.

My question is, what's the best leather cleaner / conditioner to use on my Golf GTI seats that will prevent leather cracking over time, while maintaining that lovely matt finish?

    Thanks!

I personally use Duragloss shampoo and conditioner:

Car Care Products / Duragloss / Interior / Leather & Vinyl / Leather Shampoo
Car Care Products / Duragloss / Interior / Leather & Vinyl / Leather Conditioner

I think both are excellent. The conditioner has had more use so far as my car's still quite new and the leather is kept clean; it gives a great leather smell (not overpowering) and certainly isn't glossy or overly slippery.

      Can't argue with that advice.
