Hey guys,

Long time viewer, first time poster, and what a great forum it is.

Picked up the brand new Tiguan 155 last week and couldn't be happier.

Me and the misus had a look at the 147 a while back and were already impress then, but selling my car was holding us back (import Evo 8MR), which finally got sold and brought us to our new toy.

Its a great drive, especially in 'Sports' mode, and very polished inside and out. Does have a smallish boot and us aussies missed out on the keyless entry and engine start button.

I was joking around with her the other night, and mentioned the stage 1 APR chip...who know I might sneak it in for XMAS and wont tell her....lol

Anyways, look forward to browsing through the forums and getting to know the tigi better.

Welcome mate.
What options did you geto the Tiggy?

APR makes a world of difference to the lower spec model, the 155 shows a modest improvement though.

I manage decent fuel economy out of mine if i drive it that way.


The smallish boot can be rmedied by the sliding rear bench seat and the floor floats above a spare and foam cushioning.

Just got the black leather and metallic paint.

Yeah I think the torque boost would be amazing on the 155, but I wont chip it.

Once the misus pops out a few kids, it will be hers...can you imagine the poor kids in the back if it was pushing close to 200KW...lol

I will save the fun for my ride once its required.

Cheers on the idea for the boot....never thought of that.
