Hey all!
I thought I best join up and post before I finally take the plunge and by myself a MKIV Golf GTI.
I am definitely not new to the VW scene as I have owned a 1303 for the past six or seven months now. You may have heard of her, she's called Zelda.
I basically documented everything I did to her on Aussieveedubbers.com over here.
But if you skip through all of that, in the end she's going into storage and I thought I might as well keep with the VW scene as I enjoy it so bloody much. So I have decided to go with a MKIV Golf GTI. I'm currently looking at a 2001 model with all the extras and a 2000 model as well.
Anyway, I thought I'd stick my head over here and say hello before taking the plunge and buying one.
What are the craziest MKIV Golf GTI thread's on here? Custom, stock, anything, if it looks good I want to know about it.
I forgot to mention, I'm from Adelaide. I'm on my P's and will be 18 soon. I already have a full time job as I am an iOS (iPhone, iPad) developer.
