Just ordered my build to order Tiguan 2012 TDI Bluemotion. Was told upfront by Barloworld Fivedock to expect my delivery by June 2012 next year?!? Is that really possible

I remember Barloworld Mascot telling my dad that if he wanted a new Golf GTI he would be waiting 8-12 months !! He ended up finding one in Melbourne (Berwick VW) brand new, 0kms, all the options (except sunroof) for a good 12% off RRP...

I waited 4 months for mine to be delivered.

The firs tshipment will basically be dealer stock, as such you wiil probably have to wait until January for a build slot and then it will be late May when you get it essentially.

The 103TDI Blue will be pretty frugal.

Got my NADCON screen shot and my car has been slotted in for build of Week 8 from the Wolfsburg 11 Plant. So yes, i'll most take delivery of the car in late May Damn long wait!! Oct 22 order, 2011..... and only being built in Feb 2012.

I believe they shut down for December and half of January.
Mine was built in February as well.
