Newbie in VIC - about to take ownership of Mk 4 1.6

Hi everyone,

I'm about to take ownership of a Mk4 Golf, 1.6 manual (MY00) this week. I used to have a Liberty until it got written off (quite a story - I'm actually on the Subaru website - Subaru Safety Stories | Subaru Australia - I'm the first story from the top)



I'm also still a member of the Liberty owner's club - http://forum.liberty.asn.au

Since I'm saving for a house I decided to buy a cheap runabout rather than replace the Liberty, but I wanted something with decent safety and at least front airbags. I still have plans for a few minor tasteful mods. First is audio.

I'll post pics of the new ride once I have it.

For a few years the mk4 was the safest second hand car on the road (reason my mum and dad got me into one) so your on a winner there.
