VIC Newbie - MY10 Passat TDi Owner

Hi All,

I purchased a Passat MY10 (White) TDi Wagon around May this year 2011. The ride has been good, but the seats (Napper leather) are a bit on the firm side though. I have just started putting in a Bluetooth 9WZ module into my Passat, may do a write up if ppl are interested.

I used to own another VW about 10 years ago, well it was my first car. It was a Golf MkIII Classic. That was a good small car apart from European electrical problem as the car gets older and a bit of lack in power 88kW from a 2 liter engine (I owned it for just over 5 yrs).

Hi opel126,

I notice yours a MY10.5. Do you know what is the real difference between MY10 and MY10.5....I could not really work it out when I purchase my car.

Plus also notice u r from Brisbane....guess what I purchased my Passat from QLD (Austral VW), cos I bought demo when VW are about to introduce the MY11 on the floor, and there are only floor stock left in Aust. Long story short, I was after one with elect tail-gate and in white or grey colour. Austral VW has so I bought there.

Great to know another My10ish Wagon owner. Will sure do include pics of course.
