Almost a VW Passat Owner!

Hello from Sunny Carnarvon, Western Australia!

I had expected to become a happy Passat 125TDI owner today, but now I will have to wait until the end of November after some discussion with the dealer over MY11 and MY12 differences.

The dealer, John Hughes VW in Victoria Park WA, was very helpful and professional, and because of the confusion agreed to change my order to a MY12 model at my request. The only downside is that I have to wait now until the end of November for delivery

Changes between MY11 and MY12

There is a full list of the differences here Volkswagen Australia Passenger Vehicle Model Year 2012 (MY12) Changes | my-gti.com but the main one is the Extended Electronic Differential Lock.

I didn't really want a slightly superseded model either.....
