  • Mk2 GTi

Hi guys, not new to Vee dubs but this is my first water cooled VW, she needs heaps of work and for this I need loads of
spares so i'm hoping you guys might be able to point me in the right direction in terms of who to speak to or some online
stores that may be able to help. Will post some pics as soon as I have her a place sorted in the shed.

    thanks
    Rax

I managed to get an online manual that was pretty helpful if you don't have a copy of one PM me and we'll sort it out.

Tell me about it! Parts even at the scrappies are non existent, might have to make a trip back to South Africa for bits and pieces. Nice website that I found is a South African one that will supply us parts but we have to arrange our own shipping is Autostyle Motorsport they have heaps of body parts like bumpers; bonnets lighting and suspension bits too. Check them out and see what you think as soon as I can get the rego for my car sorted i'm going to do a reasonably large order methinks.

You mention scrappies, have you come across any wreckers with VWs?
Thanks for sharing the link. I have a few items I am interested in, let me know if you are going to order we can share shipping costs.

Theres GolfWagen in Wangarra but they have no MK2 parts at all they may have compatible MK3 parts but I haven't checked. None of the scrappies I went to except ASV had MK2 parts and they gad to bring the parts over from their eastern states store.
