Hi all
i'm knup flog from launceston , after a long break from vw water coolers and saying that i'd never buy another vw to throw money at the bug has bite again after i noticed my old mk1 one for sale .
this time it's going to be sticking around and i have pretty big plans for it a full resto with the only non standard parts being a later 16v engine running carbs maybe a cable change box conversion ,coil overs ,15x8 xxr2's ,and a striped carbon interior a half cage and race seats !
so im open to suggestions on a good engine to fit must be able to run carbs without to much hassle !
