Recently bought a 2010 118TSI DSG Golf Wagon for the family. Found this site after googling how to turn auto door locks off! (Didn't like the clunk, and thought it might be difficult to get out in an accident). Looks like an interesting site with lots of knowledgeable posters.

I don't have the manual with me, but I'm fairly sure the new ones auto-unlock if you're in an accident. Someone correct me here? I set it up for my old man since he's always driving around the CBD at night and the unlock when ignition is turned off feature is v convenient'01 Saab 9-3 S
