Hi All

got my first VW last week, great little thing! questions! question! questions!

when I look at the wheels they dont look Parallel, they look a little off. Is it my eyes playing tricks or is that the way it’s meant to be? Both front and back look the same.

Are there adjustments which can be made so tyres last an bit longer. The inside of the tyres are balding while the outside looks ok.

I also have a noisy wearing sound. Not sure if it bearing or could it just be that the alignment is way off.

The mk1 eyeball isn't the best way to check alignment mate.

Tracking would be the most likely culprit but if you think there's stuff not right with the hardware have that sorted first.
